Why Retire Your Horse With Us?
Situated in Northern Virginia, we offer 25+ acres of mostly flat grass paddocks in a serene, quiet setting with no nearby vehicle traffic. This means peace and quiet for your senior equine.
Unlike many retirement facilities that may put your horse to pasture and pay them only an occasional eye, we do 4x daily checks, blankets in winter, fly sheets and masks in summer, feeding hay, grain, supplements and medications, will provide special care according to instructions, holding for vet/farrier/dentist, and always providing lots of love.
Our property includes four run in sheds, 90% fencing is all new 3 board oak panel 54" high. We monitor troughs daily to ensure proper water consumption. Two stalls exist for emergency or incidental usage (daily stall use is not included in board).
Owner/operator has 30+ years experience and we easily have eyes on horses at all times. We often have between 6-9 horses, with the large majority being mares and thoroughbreds, but we will occasionally have a gelding or quarter horse or draft type.
